Central Illinois Singles Dances are held in Bloomington, Illinois for singles and single couples to come out for a fun night of dancing and socializing in a safe, smoke-free atmosphere.
Singles from Bloomington, Decatur, Springfield and also Peoria, Mattoon, Danville, Effingham, Galesburg, LaSalle/Peru, Macomb and just about every town between these cities attend the various dances.
If you are tired of going to a smoke filled bar and never being able to dance because the music is too loud, isn't what you wanted to hear, the dance floor is the size of your bathroom or everyone seems to be the same age as your kids or grandkids, then you need to try Central Illinois Singles Dance!
The singles that attend our dances come from all walks of life, they come in all shapes and sizes and they are just the nicest people. Most are between 35 and 60 and are there because they love to dance and be around people their own age. Some are there to find a special someone, I know this because there have been over twenty two couples that have met in just the last year and are either getting married soon or already have.
You do not need a dance partner to attend any of these dances although there are many that will attend in groups because they come in car pools or just like a night out with friends. There are plenty of opportunities to dance in the line dances and mixers that are played many times during the evening. Mixers are designed for people to dance with as many partners as they can for the duration of the mixer, usually two to three songs. They are a great opportunity for those singles that are a little bashful to get to dance and not have to worry about asking someone to.
The music is never too loud and the dance floors are always large enough and you'll remember most of the music.
So, if you want to dance to a line dance, cha-cha, two step, waltz, polka, swing or even a tango or rhumba we have them. If you like slow, gettin close and swaying to the music songs or the shake your booty and twist fast songs we have them.
